Ps is an actual Unix command which stands for process status and shows a list of the running processes, process identifiers (PID), and process owner. In Telehack, it is used the same way. Ps can be executed on a host to show running processes or commands. Ps can be executed on the Telehack shell to show running user processes and memory usage.
An example of ps on the Telehack shell can be seen below:
@ps TEL/OS LOCAL PROCESS LIST user forbin 1 proc loaded, used mem 785k, freemem 23563k pid program mem desc --- ------- --- ---- 7315 xmodem 785k XMODEM/CRC support kit
